I think what truly defines America is, our government because, our government doesnt just make decisions for the people, they also let us have a say in it, unlike other countries where they have a totalitarian government.

I believe that freedom truly defines America. I believe this because freedom was the one thing that created this country and has determined Americas role in the world since.
In my opinion, America is defined as a country where freedom promises the possibility of success and prosperity. It is a place where we believe that everyone is created equal. There is probably no country with a more unified culture.
America can be defined by many words. The words that really stand out are productivity, patriotism, power, options open to achieve to the fullest of a persons abilities, and being able to have a great quality of life. America by far is the best country in the world.
America was once a great nation, and still is when compared to the rest of the world. However, our country has become corrupt, and people are having trouble trusting our politicians which is a big part of our society, trust.
In my opinion America is defined by the freedom and equality of the people. US citizens are trusted to by the government to make their own decisions and live life the way the want to. This mutual trust is the reason America functions so well.
In my opinion nothing is more prevalent in defining America, than what it was founded on, and why the pilgrims originally came here, freedom and opportunity. The American that hard work, perseverance, and honesty will result in success and an opportunity to improve your quality of life. However, nothing may be more important than the freedom of speech and religion that we receive in the second amendment, in defining America.
In my opinion, there are 3 main factors that define America. Individualism, freedom, and a land of plenty all define America because they show what America was built on. This defines America because other countries did not have the same ideals when being built were not able to achieve things through these same factors like America has been able to.
I think America is defined by its peoples' freedoms and competitiveness. These freedoms allow people to persevere through trying times by their own efforts. These traits have allowed America to become the great nation it is today.
America is built on the basis of trust, loyalty and freedom. Modern America is about intervening and being a world superpower. And the future America is about overcoming obstacles and compromising.
America is defined by the freedom that all of its people have. People have complete freedom in most every aspect of life, amking them able to lead any kind of living. It is this quality of freedom that unites the country and makes it America.
America is defined as a land of freedom and opportunity when in fact our political system and society has made it increasingly harder for people coming here seeking freedom and opportunity to find those things by being materialistic and stereotypical. We learn it every year in our history classes, we hear about past presidential candidates being robbed of the presidency because they didn't look good on TV... I think what truly defines America is our big, pretty cities, and jersey shore.
To me, America is defined as a capitalist society in which everybody has the opportunity to succeed and rise above everybody else. It is a diverse country in which everybody has freedom regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. It is a country where citizens and government have a mutual trust for each other in such a way that the government cannot abuse its power.
America is defined by the constitution. The constitution and its resilience is what gives the American people such pride and good spirit for their country. Without the foundation that is the constitution we would be nothing, as the constitution is what holds us together as a people.
Contrary to popular opinion, America is not defined by values such as equality, integrity, and justice. Instead, America is defined by us and our actions to others. So, it is our job to demonstrate these values if that is what we would like to define our great nation.
I believe that the USA is defined by its ability to pursue happiness. This pursuit of happiness allows each individual to chase after their individual dreams and become what they truly want. This not only helps the individual but contributes to the society because it provides the country with people working jobs that they like and will excel in.
